Advanced registration for the 2022 WV Immunization Summit has closed.
It’s back! The Eleventh Annual West Virginia Immunization Summit is scheduled for Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Summersville Arena and Conference Center, in Summersville, West Virginia, with a Pre-Conference Opportunity scheduled for June 9th. The Summit is an educational event targeted towards public and private organizations with an interest in addressing and resolving immunization issues in West Virginia. Various sessions at the Summit will be targeted toward healthcare and public health professionals, school nurses and administrators, business leaders, consumers, and others interested in protecting West Virginians from vaccine-preventable diseases. The Immunization Summit will also recognize and celebrate the 25th Anniversary of West Virginia Immunization Network (WIN).
Annual WIN Awards Luncheon and Celebration of WIN’s 25th Anniversary will be held at the Summersville Arena and Convention Center during the Immunization Summit on June 10th from 11:45am to 1:15pm. The purpose of the Annual WIN Awards Luncheon is to recognize those whose tireless work and innovative strategies have improved immunization coverage levels throughout West Virginia. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets for other guests, may purchase tickets to the Awards Luncheon for $25.
A Pre-Conference Opportunity will be held on June 9th, 2022 at the Summersville Arena and Convention Center. This includes training on Using Motivational Interviewing to Improve Vaccine Uptake. Two sessions times are available: 9:00 am – noon or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and are limited to 30 participants each. Registration for the pre-conference trainings is separate from the Immunization Summit Registration. Registration has closed for this event.
