Immunization Courses: Broadcasts, Webcasts, and Self Study
CDC offers numerous education and training programs for healthcare personnel. A variety of topics and formats are available. All are based on vaccine recommendations made by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice (ACIP).
NetConferences: Current Issues in Immunization
Immunization NetConferences are live, 1-hour presentations combining an online visual presentation with simultaneous audio via telephone conference call and a live question and answer session. On-demand replays and presentations will be available shortly after each event. These presentations, collectively titled “Current Issues in Immunization,” are scheduled 4 to 5 times per year. Specific topic(s) will be announced prior to each occurrence. Each presentation is designed to provide clinicians with the most up-to-date information on immunization. And, are presented by the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.
You Call The Shots: Web-Based Training Course
Developed through the Project to Enhance Immunization Content in Nursing Education and Training, which is supported by funding from the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases(NCIRD) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), through a Cooperative Agreement with the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research.

Nurse Training on Immunization Project (Nurse TIP) by University of Albany School Of Public Health
Nurse TIP recognizes that nurses play an integral role in the success of immunization programs. Nurses are often the first point of contact at any health care visit and can have considerable influence on the public health practices of a community. The goal of the project is to increase the knowledge and competency of nurses in immunization by offering relevant content in a variety of distance-learning approaches.
