Vaccination is considered one of the greatest public health achievements of our time, having drastically reduced and in some cases, eliminated dangerous and deadly diseases from the United States. However, despite this success, complacency, vaccine hesitancy, and international travel jeopardize this hard-earned immunity and threaten the return of vaccine-preventable diseases to our communities. For this reason the West Virginia Immunization Network (WIN) works hard to improve and sustain immunization rates across the lifespan – from infants to teens to adults – thus protecting West Virginia’s communities and schools from outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases.

That’s why every donation to WIN matters. All donations to WIN stay in West Virginia – directly impacting your family members, friends, and neighbors. Your support gives us the opportunity to continue making a difference throughout West Virginia; whether it’s training healthcare professionals on immunization best practices so more patients get vaccinated against preventable diseases, developing immunization education materials for use by healthcare providers across the state or by advocating for policies that improve and sustain immunization rates.

We hope you will play a role in protecting West Virginia’s communities from vaccine-preventable diseases by donating today; a gift of any size supports our life-changing mission.

The Center for Rural Health Development (The Center) serves as the lead agency for the West Virginia Immunization Network.
