This year we are hosting two great conferences in one location: the West Virginia Office of Epidemiology and Prevention Services’ 2023 Infectious Disease Public Health Training: Integrating COVID Response to Infectious Disease Surveillance and Investigation on June 8, 2023 and the Annual West Virginia Immunization Summit on June 9, 2023. Both events will be held at Summersville Arena and Conference Center.
The 2023 Infectious Disease Public Health Training, scheduled for June 8, 2023, is an interactive training that will review and discuss the detection and management of reportable infectious diseases in West Virginia, including outbreaks. The Annual West Virginia Immunization Summit, scheduled for June 9, 2023, is an educational event targeted towards public and private sector organizations with an interest in improving immunization rates in West Virginia. Sessions at the 2023 Immunization Summit are targeted toward healthcare and public health professionals, educators, students, business leaders, and others with the goal of reducing vaccine-preventable diseases in West Virginia. Annual WIN Awards Luncheon will be held at the Summersville Arena and Convention Center during the Immunization Summit on June 9th from 11:45am to 1:15pm. Lunch is included in the price of the conference registration. Those wishing to purchase tickets for other guests, may purchase tickets to the Awards Luncheon for $25. Registration Fees
- 2023 Infectious Disease Public Health Training (June 8th; one day): $75
- Immunization Summit (June 9th; one day): $75
- Two Events: 2023 Infectious Disease Public Health Training & 2023 Immunization Summit: $125
- On-Site Registration: $100 for one day; $175 for both events
- Student Rates: $30 per day (June 9th registration includes Awards Lunch);
- Awards Luncheon Ticket for additional guests not registered for the Immunization Summit (June 9th): $25
Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend the 2023 Infectious Disease Public Health Training and/or the 2023 Immunization Summit, you can send a substitute, even at the last minute. If you must cancel entirely, your request for a refund, minus a $30 processing fee, must be made in writing no later than June 1, 2023. Refunds will be processed within two weeks of the request. Cancellations made after June 6th are not eligible for a refund.
