Dr. Costello is an Assistant Professor in the Department Pediatrics at West Virginia University (WVU) in Morgantown, WV and a Pediatric Hospitalist at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital. She currently serves as the President of the West Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, President-Elect of the West Virginia State Medical Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the WV Children’s Health Insurance Program. Dr. Costello also serves as an advisor in the West Virginia Joint Interagency Task Force For COVID-19 Vaccines.

Mariana Lanata, MD, FAAP, Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine; Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention, Hoops Family Children’s Hospital
Dr. Lanata is a Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist serving children in the tristate area both in inpatient and outpatient settings. She also serves as a member of the the West Virginia COVID-19 Vaccine Medical Advisory Group. Dr. Lanata completed medical school at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Lima, Peru), her residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (formerly Miami Children’s Hospital), and a fellowship at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital at The Ohio State University. She is a member of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the Society for Pediatric Research.
