The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health Office of Epidemiology and Prevention Services is hosting their “2023 Infectious Disease Public Health Training: Integrating COVID Response to Infectious Disease Surveillance and Investigation” on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Summersville Arena and Conference Center, in Summersville, West Virginia. This interactive training will review and discuss the detection and management of reportable infectious diseases in West Virginia including outbreaks. Lunch is being provided at this event as well as morning and afternoon refreshments.
The intended participants will be public health personnel, healthcare providers and school nurses.

6 hours of continuing education units have been approved for physicians, pharmacists, nurses. 1.5 hours of continuing education units are available for sanitarians. Please complete your session evaluations before June 30th, 2023. After June 30th, CEUs are no longer available for this event.
