SUMMARY:Ripple Effects Mapping Facilitator Training
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the WV Prevention Research Center\, The Center for Rural Health Development is pleased to invite you to the upcoming Ripple Effects Mapping Facilitator Training. \nTo register\, complete the form at the bottom of this webpage. \nWhat is Ripple Effects Mapping? \nRipple Effects Mapping (REM) is a participatory\, story-driven process that helps groups understand the effects of their work\, including the results they may have anticipated and the resulting ripples they didn’t expect. REM is built on appreciative inquiry and collaborative visual mapping\, offering a grounded way to explore real experiences\, surface strengths\, and make sense of complex or evolving initiatives. Through storytelling and impact mapping in a group setting\, it provides an understanding of program or project impact by uncovering the unique ways community initiatives have made a difference. REM is commonly used as an evaluation and strategic planning tool\, especially related to grant and philanthropic funding. In fact\, several WV-based funders use REM for grant evaluation. \nHow can REM training benefit your work?\n\nGAIN INSIGHTS: Evaluate the scope of project or program impact.\nINFORM DECISION-MAKING: Use REM findings to shape future initiatives.\nSHOWCASE SUCCESS: Highlight your achievements and contributions.\n\nVisit this link for a short video example of a REM session. \nWhat to Expect:\nTwo full days of experiential in-person training on planning and hosting REM sessions with hands-on REM session facilitation practice that will enable you to conduct REM in your community. \nThe training will run from 10am to 5pm on October 28th and 10am to 4pm on October 29th\, with lunch and refreshments provided both days. Because this training provides a hands-on\, practice-based learning experience\, attendees will find this training to be most informative if they attend the entirety of the training. \nCost:\nThe registration fee is $150/person and includes the two-day training\, training materials\, and lunch and refreshments on both days. To register\, complete the form below. Space is very limited for this training so registration may close early if capacity is reached. \nLocation:\nKanawha County Library: 123 Capitol St. Charleston\, WV \nLodging:\nFor those traveling in from out of town\, a room block is being held at the Four Points by Sheraton Charleston at a rate of $115.00 per night. The room block will close October 05\, 2026\, or sooner if filled. To make a reservation in the room block\, click here\, or call 304-344-4092 and specify “The Center for Rural Health Development Room Block.” \nNeed Additional Information About This Event?\nCall The Center for Rural Health Development at (304) 397-4071\, or email. \nRegistration Form:\n\n\n\n\n\nRipple Effects Mapping (REM) Training\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \nAttendee Information\n\nPlease complete the registration information for each Ripple Effects Mapping Facilitator Training participant that you are registering. \n\nRipple Effects Mapping Facilitator Training - Attendees Information \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n	Attendee #\n \n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n\n Organization Name\n *\n \n \n \n \n\n\n Full Name\n *\n \n \n	\n Full Name	\n\n	\n \n \n First \n\n First \n \n \n Last \n\n Last \n \n\n\n \n \n\n\n	Address\n *\n	\n	\n\n	Address\n\n\n	\n Address	\n \n	\n\n	\n Address	\n \n	\n\n	\n City	\n \n	City\n\n	\n State/Province	\n \n \n \n AlabamaAlaskaArkansasArizonaCaliforniaColoradoConnecticutDelawareDistrict of ColumbiaFloridaGeorgiaHawaiiIdahoIllinoisIndianaIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMaineMarylandMassachusettsMichiganMinnesotaMississippiMissouriMontanaNebraskaNevadaNew HampshireNew JerseyNew MexicoNew YorkNorth CarolinaNorth DakotaOhioOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasUtahVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyoming \n	State/Province\n\n	\n Zip/Postal	\n \n	Zip/Postal\n\n\n\n	\n	\n\n\n Email\n *\n \n \n \n \n\n\n Mobile Phone\n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n	Does the attendee have dietary restriction or food-related allergy?\n \n	\n	\n	*Please note that not all dietary restrictions will be able to be accommodated. \n	\n\n\n	Does the attendee have any accessibility requirements or request any special accommodations (such as a lactation room\, etc.)\n \n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n\n	Register Attendee For\n *\n	\n	\n- Select One -Ripple Effects Mapping Facilitator Training Registration - $150.00\n\n	\n	\n\n\n	plus1\n	\n\n \n\n	minus1\n	\n\n \n\n\n\n Total Payment\n \n \n \n \n\n\n Payment Method:\n *\n \n \n Credit Card (via PayPal) *Please note: there will be no additional fees assessed when paying through PayPal and you do not need a PayPal account to pay this way.\n \n Check (via Mail)\n \n Invoice Me\n\n \n \n\n\n	Organization Name\n *\n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n\n	Email for Invoice\n *\n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n\n	To whom should the invoice be addressed\n *\n	\n	\n	\n	\n\n\n Address\n *\n \n \n\n	Address\n\n\n	\n Address	\n \n	\n\n	\n Address	\n \n	\n\n	\n City	\n \n	City\n\n	\n State/Province	\n \n \n \n AlabamaAlaskaArkansasArizonaCaliforniaColoradoConnecticutDelawareDistrict of ColumbiaFloridaGeorgiaHawaiiIdahoIllinoisIndianaIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMaineMarylandMassachusettsMichiganMinnesotaMississippiMissouriMontanaNebraskaNevadaNew HampshireNew JerseyNew MexicoNew YorkNorth CarolinaNorth DakotaOhioOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasUtahVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyoming \n	State/Province\n\n	\n Zip/Postal	\n \n	Zip/Postal\n\n\n\n \n \n\n\nSubstitutions/Cancellations:\n\n\n\nIf you cannot attend the Ripple Effects Mapping Traning\, you can send a substitute\, even at the last minute.
