SUMMARY:West Virginia Immunization Network: Integrating Hepatitis B and Other Adult Immunizations into Practice
DESCRIPTION:The goal of this training is to equip Behavioral Health Treatment Facilities in West Virginia with the knowledge and tools to successfully implement Hepatitis B immunization services into their practice.  The West Virginia Immunization Network and partners will also provide ongoing technical assistance to programs interested in pursuing hepatitis B immunization services for their patient population. This training is only open to Behavioral Health Treatment Facilities in West Virginia. \nThe same training will be held on two different dates in two different locations.  The first training is May 16th in Charleston\, WV and the second will be June 26th in Fairmont\, WV.  Please choose to attend the training that is most convenient for you. \nTarget Audience:  Behavioral Health Association Members and West Virginia Behavioral Health Treatment Facility Staff\n\nCost: Free\n\nLocation: Kanawha Public Library\, Charleston\, WV\n\nRegistration: Click here to register for this event.\n\nAgenda:  Click here to view the agenda.\n\nContinuing Education:  2.5 hours of continuing education is approved for Physician\, Pharmacy\, Nursing\, and Social Work credits at this event. \nDISCLOSURE AND MITIGATION \nThe CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine and the Center for Rural Health Development controls the content and production of this CE activity and attempt to ensure the presentation of balanced\, objective information. CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)\, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)\, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)\, to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. \nPhysicians-.  The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.5 hours for AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. \nNurses The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This offering has been approved for 2.5 contact hours (JA0026-26-25-746) \nPharmacy – The CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  To receive credit\, participants must complete the sign-in sheet\, attend each session\, and complete an evaluation. ACPE credits will be posted online to the CPE Monitor within six (6) weeks following the activity.
