Oral Health Development Program Manager


Thomas began working as the Oral Health Development Program Manager for the Center for Rural Health Development, Inc. (Center) in July, 2016. In this role, Thomas manages the day to day operations of the Center’s Oral Health Development Program. He works closely with the Center’s Loan Fund Manager/CFO, Rob Dearing and Loan Fund Consultant, John Reger, working to provide an affordable source of financing for dental health practices throughout West Virginia. In addition he works collaboratively with the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health’s Oral Health Program in carrying out the purpose of the Oral Health Development Program. Other key partners include the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, West Virginia Dental Association, the West Virginia Oral Health Coalition and others involved in strengthening access to dental health care in West Virginia. He is responsible for overseeing the implementation of key components of the Oral Health Development Program to develop, implement and sustain infrastructure and workforce which will strengthen access to dental care in West Virginia.

In addition, Thomas brings over 20 years of marketing and project management experience as well as creative direction, graphic design, production and sales. He has worked in many different sectors through his career including health care, professional, retail, industry and more.
